The ‘Entdecker’ cycle tour through the Quellenviertel combines cycling with a wide variety of natural landscapes. Depending on the route you choose, you’ll pass lakes and moors, ride through woods and across open fields, or cycle alongside the Inn and Salzach rivers.
Along the way, it often becomes surprisingly quiet. No noise, no stress. Instead, there’s birdsong, the crunch of leaves beneath your tyres and, somewhere in the air, the scent of fresh grass or forest air. Natural attractions such as the Ibmer Moor, the Weidmoos or the Salzach Gorge lie directly on the route or in the surrounding area, making every section of the route a bit different.
And then there are those moments you simply can’t plan for. When the view suddenly opens up across the landscape. When the evening sun hangs over the fields. Or when you just stop for a moment and think to yourself: “Well, look at that. It really is something.”
