In the pub back in the day
The exhibition features photographs of old (abandoned) pubs by Karo Pernegger, thereby addressing the issue of the decline of pubs – but it also highlights the numerous pubs that once existed in the town of Ried.
The exhibition is based partly on the collection of the Innviertler Volkskundehaus museum, and partly on the account of the ‘beer tour through Ried’ undertaken by four members of the Liedertafel in 1913.
