Welcome to Frankenburg am Hausruck!

Idyllically situated on the southern slope of the Hausruckwald forest, the market town of Frankenburg am Hausruck is in close proximity to the mountain and lake landscape of the Salzkammergut.

The market town with around 5,200 inhabitants is characterized by its family atmosphere and proximity to nature. The well-marked hiking and cycling trails, including the botanical hiking trail and the dice game trail, are particularly popular.

One highlight is the viewing tower on the Göblberg, which offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the region. Nature lovers should pay a visit to the botanical garden in Hintersteining, which is home to a variety of plants from all over the world.
