A warm welcome to Schwanenstadt Local Heritage Museum!


Even in Roman times Schwanenstadt had an important road network. Many well-preserved, historic findings prove that this area was a center of trade. Today the local administration building hosts the outstanding Local Heritage Museum which focuses on the region´s traditional crafts. Among the exhibits on display are farming tools and machinery, guild emblems, heraldic symbols, ancient flags. A special exhibition is all about the local fire department.
