This green area was created on the occasion of the State Garden Show (2004).
The park has been called the "Park of German Unity" since 2009 due to the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.A short documentary and two original parts of the Berlin Wall commemorate the division and reunification of Germany. Popular with children are the large mosaic snake or a detour to the barefoot path in the praline gardens.
