The Burghausen City Museum is located in the main castle of the world's longest castle. A total of 900 square meters of interactive and audio stations invite you to discover the exciting art, culture and everyday history of
Burghausen and its region. Visitors can walk through the centuries as if in a picture book, from the first life in the region through the heyday in the Middle Ages to the new era as an industrial city today.

Visitors can dress up in medieval ceremonial robes or try their hand at being a knight in a 3D tournament. How were castles built in the past? What did the nobility and the common people eat?
