Lif's Waldhof

In Helpfau-Uttendorf, on the edge of the Kobernaußerwald forest, a market garden - Lif's Waldhof - is being established.
A small-scale agricultural business whose founders, Delia, Laura, Patrick and Simon, have made it their mission to supply the surrounding area with fresh, regional vegetables grown by hand.

An unusual path
It may seem unusual that four young people have decided to set up a farm these days, and on such a comparatively small area at that. The team at Lif's Waldhof are convinced that their concept is a path with a future. They have asked themselves how it is possible to farm profitably in harmony with nature while remaining independent of large corporations. This is why they want to re-establish direct contact between producers and consumers.

Hands in the soil
In the first season (2026), 65 beds in the open field and 20 beds in protected cultivation will be cultivated in the market garden using a biodynamic and soil-conserving cultivation method. No heavy machinery, pesticides, herbicides or genetically modified organisms are used. The young plants are grown by the gardeners themselves. They attach great importance to the exclusive use of seed-resistant seeds.

Vegetable subscription from the neighborhood
The vegetables from Lif's Waldhof can be purchased by subscription from spring 2026. You will be supplied
over 32 weeks with a diverse mix of freshly harvested delicacies. There is a choice of
