Picknicktipp - Unterer Inn

Summer is the perfect time to enjoy the great outdoors. A cozy blanket, a picnic basket packed with regional delicacies, and the beauty of nature all around!

Picnic tip in the Quellenviertel:
Start on foot or by bike at the Braunau/Simbach hydroelectric power plant and stay on the Inn Dam (Via Nova Bike and Hiking Trail) until, after about
15 minutes to a large bike sign (turn left here to head toward Gasthof Putscher), then continue straight for about another 15 minutes until you cross a small bridge, then, after about 300 meters, you’ll reach the first peninsula jutting into the Inn—and that’s where my favorite spot is.
