The Roßmarkt in Grieskirchen is a modern dining establishment with seasonal cuisine and a cozy venue for relaxed culinary evenings.
Florian and Theresa took over this historic place in February 2026 and are reimagining it.

Cooking is done with high-quality, seasonal ingredients and a great sense for new ideas. Florian regularly brings modern creations to the plate – uncomplicated, thoughtful, and with a focus on flavor.

The offer is complemented by a small, carefully selected wine list, homemade syrups, and creative non-alcoholic drinks.

In the summer months from May to September, guests can expect a light summer menu with warm and cold dishes that are ideal for sharing or enjoying alone. A beautiful guest garden in the heart of the city invites you to spend relaxed summer evenings in a pleasant atmosphere. During this time, we are open from Wednesday to Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with warm meals available until 8:15 p.m.

Open even in bad weather!!! For guaranteed seating, we kindly ask for reservations!

As it gets colder outside in October, the Roßmarkt retreats to the small cozy dining room. The culinary concept also changes then: guests can choose 3, 4, or 5 dishes from a small menu that changes every two weeks. 

As the number of seats is limited (25 indoors, 50 outdoors), making a reservation is recommended.
