An animal experience with curlew, snipe and lapwing
Natural spectacle - What's bleating here in the moor?
In the Ibmer Moor, the most important meadow breeding area in Upper Austria, we explore the fascinating and extremely rare ground breeders such as the curlew (moor flute), snipe (sky goat) and lapwing (whistler). During our hike, we imitate their behavior, search for food and practice nest building. We listen to the various bird calls such as "song" or warning calls and imitate them in a joint moorland bird concert.
After these efforts, we eat the delicacies we have brought with us and then take a leisurely walk through the atmospheric moorland area and learn about the carnivorous plants, the swampy, "wobbly" moorland soil and interesting facts about this strictly protected moorland area.
Of course, there are also themed stories.
