Viewpoint Pippmannsberg Eggelsberg

The Pippmannsberg in the municipality of Eggelsberg in Upper Austria offers an impressive view of the surrounding area.
The Eggelsberger Gletscherrandweg, a well-marked hiking trail around 8 kilometers long, is particularly recommended and leads to some of the most beautiful viewpoints around Eggelsberg. Along the way, information boards provide information about the development of the climate, the Alpine chain and the formation of the landscape. An erratic boulder park and a small educational tree trail further enhance the trail. Part of the trail is barrier-free.

The starting point of the Gletscherrandweg is at the parking lot of the new secondary school in Eggelsberg, near the church. From there, the route leads via Renzlbergstraße up to Pippmannsberg and on through two wooded areas back to Eggelsberg. On the way, you pass villages such as Trametshausen, Bergstetten and Autmannsdorf.
