Lochen am See offers its guests extensive walks, hikes, horseback rides, carriage rides and leads them to the original sites of Salzburg-Bavarian jurisdiction with the Richtstättenweg. Our beautiful parish church with the famous baroque high altar by Meinrad Guggenbichler, the Gebertsham Filial Church with an artistic late Gothic winged altar by Gordian Guckh and the Astätt Filial Church bear witness to the long tradition of this cultural landscape. The Tannberg offers a wonderful view of the Alpine foothills and the Innviertel and invites you to go hiking with its Tannbergrundweg. The natural bathing beach in Gebertsham is ideal for families. Solid and cosy inns spoil guests with home-style cooking. Well-kept rooms as well as farm holidays are a matter of course with us. The short distance to many sights such as the Mozart city Salzburg (25 km), the "Silent Night Chapel" in Oberndorf (30 km), the Salzkammergut, Braunau am Inn (25 km) or the Bavarian Burghausen entice to interesting day or half-day trips.
