The "Friends of Bees Franking" would like to answer these questions with the bee nature trail and, above all, draw attention to the importance of insects. The bee nature trail in Franking is currently still under construction and should become a relaxing experience in nature for the young and young at heart towards the end of summer 2022. As the trail runs between organic farms, it is ideal for insects as the food supply is available from spring to autumn. What makes the bee nature trail in Franking so special? If you want to expand your knowledge of bees beyond the educational boards, guided tours can be booked. Born in Salzburg, she and her family made Franking their adopted home around 5 years ago. She completed her training as a bee educator in May 2022 and is one of the first graduates to complete the new course, which is offered by Salzburger imker.ag together with the Rural Training Institute (LFI), the Austrian Beekeepers' Association and the German Professional and Commercial Beekeepers' Association. Herndl is the mother of two children and has been a hobby beekeeper since 2015. By training as a bee educator, she wants to pass on her understanding of the cycles in nature in connection with bees and insects in an understandable way.
