The landmark - the Stadttum - stands at the western end of the town square. In summer, you can find a shady spot in the cosy pavement cafés. At the western end of the square sits the striking town tower, a landmark of medieval architecture, which today also houses the Stadtturm-Galerie. Since the detour of the main road in 2009, the square has developed into a quiet, lively meeting zone, which is enlivened by regular weekly and farmers' markets. The summer sidewalk cafés invite visitors and locals to linger and enjoy themselves. The centrally located square, which is around 450 meters long, is easily accessible and offers numerous parking options, including short-term parking zones with free times. The historic town square is not only architecturally impressive, but also a cultural centerpiece of Schwanenstadt that harmoniously combines history, community and leisure and invites you to linger.
