The Circulare, an original circular in Gruber's handwriting, contains the new school regulations following the incorporation of Salzburg into Austria.The pictures in the classroom tell the story of Gruber's life and shed light on the background to the creation of the famous melody Silent Night.In the Rauchkuchl, you have to listen to what the walls tell you! This is where everyday life took place.The beautifully carved nativity figures are displayed in a separate room. They date back to Gruber's time and still fulfil their function in the pilgrimage church next door: Maria im Mösl. Gruber has already played the organ there.The temporary exhibition room is used for special exhibitions. Currently - until the end of 2024: Axel Corti.
