The castle is surrounded by a well-tended park. Compared to the surrounding lawns, the castle stands somewhat elevated, perhaps as a reminder of the filled-in moat. The castle chapel was recently renovated. A coat of arms emblem commemorates the former owners.Numerous events have given the castle a new use.
