And a visit to the baroque complex is a real pleasure - both culturally and culinarily.** After a major fire in the 17th century, the abbey buildings took on their current Baroque appearance. Reichersberg Abbey towers large and mighty over the River Inn. Arcades and onion-crowned bay windows line the baroque complex, which is grouped around two courtyards. The monastery is run by the Augustinian canons, who have lived and worked here for more than 900 years. In addition to their pastoral work, they also give a lot of space to culture, with the "Reichersberg Summer" attracting visitors year after year with festive church services, exhibitions, readings, cabaret and jazz. Renovated and transformed into a cultural centre of the Innviertel region, [Reichersberg](http://www.innviertel-tourismus.at/wohin-moechtest-du-reisen/oesterreich/ort/430001113/reichersberg.html) now presents itself in new splendour.
