Embedded in the land praised by dialect poets, the location offers an ideal hiking area in the unspoiled landscape right in the heart of the Vital World. Small walks or extensive hikes are always inviting with traditional country inns offering sociable stops. But the land between the Danube and Salzkammergut can also be explored by bicycle. A varied cultural program is offered throughout the year. Next to the lovingly maintained spa park, the nature park designed with a bird aviary and pond biotopes invites you to linger in summer and to play curling in winter. A romantic horse-drawn carriage ride often counts among the most beautiful vacation memories. A first-class tennis facility as well as a large soccer complex (suitable for training camps) and the attractive natural swimming pool with diving tower, sand and water playground, wild stream, rope climbing jungle, as well as two beach volleyball courts, a ball playing field, and a climbing wall are all hot tips for active leisure activities. Old and new shape the ensemble of the newly inaugurated Roman Catholic parish church in 2005. The architect team, which was awarded an architecture prize for this, has succeeded excellently in connecting the new, modern house of worship with the old church and tower in a circular structure. Particularly worth seeing are the covered Stations of the Cross leading around the church by the local artist Erwin Burgstaller as well as the grave stones of the noble families that once ruled here.
