What is Urology?
All diseases of the urogenital tract in men, women, and children fall within the field of urology.

Service Range
-------------

### Preventive Examination:

- For early detection of tumor diseases, e.g.: Prostate cancer

### Diagnostics:

- Ultrasound examination of the kidney, bladder, prostate, testicles, and penis
- Painless urethra and bladder endoscopy
- Prostate examination
- Laboratory diagnostics
- Fertility counseling for men, especially sperm analysis (5-day abstinence period to be observed!)
- Impotence issues
- Incontinence assessment
- Changes in the external genitalia, such as phimosis, warts
- Urinary stone diseases

### Therapy:

- Treatment of infections of the urogenital tract in men, women, and children
- Treatment of incontinence and functional disorders of the bladder in men, women, and children
- Treatment for impotence and hormonal deficiency in men
- Follow-ups for tumor diseases & outpatient treatments

### Outpatient Surgeries:

- Vasectomy (male sterilization upon fulfilled desire for children)
- Tissue sampling from the prostate (prostate biopsy)
- Bladder endoscopy with tissue sampling
- Severing of the frenulum
- Removal of skin tumors in the genital area
- Fungal diseases
