A farm-run apiary with 150 - 170 bee colonies in a special location on the Lower Inn nature reserve.** The **wax sticks**, which are made by Mrs Aigner herself, are something very special. A wax stick is an almost endlessly long **wax candle** that is placed in various shapes and then decorated. These wax strings were traditionally made by candle makers, who pulled a wick through a wax bath around 30 times and wound the ends onto large drums. Bleached beeswax was used for this.
