Many streams, some still in their natural state, run through the municipal area and enrich this diverse landscape. The ridges of the terminal moraine offer marvellous views of the Alpine chain. In addition to the mystical moor, peace and relaxation can also be found in the marvellous mixed forests. Those interested in culture will enjoy the Eggelsberg parish church, the "Innviertler Dom", the lovely little church in Ibm and the many small monuments in the municipality. Eggelsberg artists have created marvellous works of art, which can be found on the banks of the Ibmer/Heratingersee lake. Many well-signposted hiking and cycling trails open up this diverse recreational area for nature lovers and culture enthusiasts.
