Lowland bogs, transitional bogs and raised bogs merge here, creating a habitat that has become rare. No wonder, then, that the area is a protected nature reserve and forms part of the European NATURA 2000 network. With a bit of luck, you might see butterflies fluttering by, dragonflies darting over the water, and even carnivorous plants growing amongst the cotton grass and orchids. It almost sounds made up.
